Hi again, and happy Tuesday!! I had such a fun weekend I am pretty bummed it is all over already. On Saturday, Grayson was invited to 3 Birthday parties. All in a row 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00. It was quite the day for him. At the first party, when we got there, the Mom let the kids each pick a cape and a mask that they got to take home with them. It was super cute! She just got a big box full from Amazon and the kids loved it. I think that could have been the whole party right there. The kids where having a ball just running around in the back yard in their capes. His second party was a lego themed party, which is heaven for Grayson, and the third party was a Mario Brothers themed party; bounce house and everything. These Moms all did so much work and had thee cutest details, I was so impressed. Really made me start thinking about what I am going to do for Grayson’s next birthday. Thank goodness for pinterest, right?
On Saturday night Zach and I went on a much needed date night. I think it had been at least a month since we had gone out, maybe longer, I actually can’t remember. We went to my favorite Mexican place that has thee best sweet corn tamales I have EVER had. They really are incredible! If given the choice, I will probably choose Mexican every time. We sat and talked until it was closed and then came home to watch some Vikings!!! Have you guys ever seen that show? Wow, I love it so much, and I can’t believe that I do, because it is really pretty violent. I usually just look at my phone or something during the battles because I’m pretty sure I would have nightmares. But oh the love triangle is amazing and all the actors are beautiful with the most amazing braids.
Let me just say, that I am so happy that it is actually fashionably acceptable to basically wear slippers as a shoe now! It is my most favorite trend right now and these little slides are like walking on clouds. I love it! And I found them for a super reasonable price too. I’ll link it all below 🙂
Thanks again for following along, what did you do this weekend and where are your favorite places to eat?
